  • P: matches played.
  • W, D, L: wins, draws, and losses.
  • GF, GA: your goals or points, and those of your opponents.
  • GD: the difference between the two.
  • Pts: table points.
  • FF: lost a match because the player did not play.
  • BH: Buchholz, only in the Swiss System. It is explained below.

When players have the same points

Normally the app first looks at the score difference. Then it looks at the matches between those players. After that, it counts the wins. You can change this order under “Tournament Rules”. If everything is equal, first place is shared.

What is Buchholz?

Buchholz is used in the Swiss System. It adds up the wins of your opponents. So a win against a strong opponent helps you more. When points are equal, Buchholz decides first, then your wins, then the other rules.
